Over the last decade, the C4 Multiband Compressor has grown to be one of Waves’ most popular processors. Say you need to control sibilance on a vocal track, dynamically boost its top end, and control plosives, simultaneously: With the C4, it’s easy to do all three at once.

The C4 has four bands that can be independently adjusted for compression characteristics, band crossover frequency, gain, and more. For example, if you want to compress a stereo mix but give the bottom end a slower release time than the high frequencies, these band-dependent controls really come in handy.

Using the C4 is much easier than linking four different compressors and EQs; C4 delivers top-quality compression, expansion, and equalization, all controlled by one intuitive interface.
